Being a fetus must be fun

Abbey says that she feels a nearly constant tumbling all day long, but it isn't really easy to understand until she lifts her shirt in the middle of a fetal sprint.  Stealing home in a tied World Series game may not be easy for adults, but our little baby seems to have it down already.  Like rollers on a massage chair, hidden arms and elbows push against the belly, slide from one side to the other, and trail kicking legs in tow as it races to the finish line at the far end of the placenta.  This episode is repeated over and over again, making it harder for us to think of anything but parenthood and nearly impossible to keep our hands off the envelope on the mantle.  The envelope, as some of you know, hides the gender as it tortures our friend Heidi every time she sits on our couch.
