On Thursday, Harrison had to have both his AFP level checked (by a blood test) and an ultra sound. When we arrived at the hospital for the ultrasound we gave Harrison a new Hot Wheels Car. We hoped this would give him something to be excited about and keep him distracted during the actual ultrasound. It worked pretty well. Harrison was very excited about his new car. Then he had to eat breakfast after the ultrasound before having his blood test. Eating all before the blood test distracted him well. Thankfully, the nurse got his blood with the first poke! Harrison is a trooper!
