the tongue works

Harrison is sucking out of a bottle for the first time right now.  We were told it would take a few days and that he would require feeding by a tube for at least two days.  Well, the tube is out, and Harrison is a rockstar.  We figured he'd be way ahead, though.

Anyway, we are being moved to the general pediatrics floor and out of the ICU in about thirty minutes at 3:30pm.  As a small but reassuring sign of the return of The Harrison Matz, he is getting annoyed when we don't give him everything he wants exactly when he wants it.  For example, his IV line...

So thankful that the little "rockstar" is without feeding tube and taking a bottle! We are 2 of his biggest fans who continue to pray for his healing. We love you, Harrison! xo grandpa & grandma matz
