As we were walking out the door on our way to the hospital on Sunday morning, Harrison's birthday, we stopped to take a picture at the door to the garage at Abbey's parents' house. Ellen, with a perk in her voice, exclaimed, "Ooh, look at that." When we looked over, she was pointing at the daffodil in the window sill over the sink in the kitchen. She explained, "I've been waiting for that to flower, but it decided to wait to bloom until today." Our little boy Harrison never has been, is not currently, and never will be entirely in our hands, and we thank God for loving him even more than we ever could.
